Gender Integration for Climate Action: A Review of Commonwealth Member Country Nationally Determined Contributions

Gender Integration for Climate Action is the second edition of a 2021 report published by the Commonwealth Secretariat, presenting a macro-level overview of the extent of gender integration in Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDCs) and aims to serve as best practices for countries looking to emulate and propose recommendations that can be followed during future NDC revision processes. Additionally, results provide a baseline for Commonwealth Secretariat interventions towards policy development, finance, technology and capacity building for implementation of gender-inclusive climate action in Commonwealth member countries. The report comprises data on gender implementation within NDCs for total of 47 out of 56 Commonwealth member countries with updated NDCs as of 2022.
