(11:00 - 12:00 EET) Domestic climate finance mapping and planning: challenges and opportunities

Monitoring public and private investment patterns is essential for countries to achieve NDCs. However, gaps exist in tracking and reporting such flows. There is a clear need for greater coordination on approaches by both the public & private sector to assess their progress under the Paris Agreement. This event will:

• Share methodologies, tools and best practices to map national climate finance flows
• Identify priorities to advance finance mapping and planning that contribute to implementing the NDCs
• Discuss international reporting requirements & transparency efforts under the Enhanced Transparency Framework & what support is needed going forward
