Colombia's updated NDC and long-term strategy, E2050, were submitted to the UNFCCC in December 2020 and November 2021, respectively. From 2018, Partnership members have mobilized over USD 10 million to support Colombia's efforts to enhance its NDC and to translate it into actions and results. For instance, through the Climate Action Enhancement Package, the government developed a framework to engage the private sector in climate action through voluntary agreements. It also developed a more comprehensive and ambitious NDC and fostered whole-of-government coordination through the country's Low Carbon and Resilient Development Strategy. Under the Partnership's Economic Advisors Initiative, both the National Department of Planning (DNP) and the Ministry of Finance (MinHacienda) developed technical and policy inputs to inform Colombia's green recovery efforts. From 2020, the Partnership's embedded facilitation support at DNP and the Ministry of Environment has been focused on making the government's climate finance coordination bodies operational.
