Côte d'Ivoire
Member Since Jul 2018
In recent years, Côte d’Ivoire has experienced rapid economic growth, largely bound to urban areas, and is at a turning point for its long-term development. The country faces crucial challenges for its energy production and for its agriculture development, a key exporting sector and a significant component of its NDC. The Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Planning are developing an NDC Partnership Plan to coordinate and oversee NDC implementation efforts. Making use of the NDC’s ambitious targets, the Plan will regroup ongoing measures and support future ones to meet needs identified throughout consultations.
