The women in the Asia-Pacific region have and continue to be, subject to discrimination and gender inequalities; these inequalities are a contributing factor as to why women and girls in this region are disproportionately affected by climate change and disaster. This analytical framework explores this issue in-depth and provides interpretive evidence focused on policy implementation, advocacy, institutional arrangements, and women's leadership. This report provides a deeper understanding of the gendered impacts of climate change and outlines recommendations to combat this issue.
