ADVISORY: Launch of the NDC Partnership on Nov 15
On November 15 Minister Hakima El Haite of Morocco, Minister Gerd Müller of Germany, Minister Barbara Hendricks of Germany, Climate Champion Laurence Tubiana and others will present at a minister-level event about one of the major outcomes of COP22 -- the launch of a new global partnership dedicated to delivering on the landmark Paris Agreement on climate change and the ambitious Sustainable Development Goals.
The NDC Partnership is a coalition of developing and developed countries and international institutions working together to ensure countries receive the technical and financial support they need to achieve ambitious climate and sustainable development goals as fast and effectively as possible.
At the launch event, Ministers and institution leaders will formally join the NDC Partnership and articulate how developed and developing countries and others can work together more effectively to accelerate national climate action that is closely aligned with sustainable development strategies and priorities.
The NDC Partnership is co-chaired by the governments of Morocco and Germany. World Resources Institute hosts the support unit for the NDC Partnership.
