Guidance on Risk-Informed Programming

This document outlines UNICEF's efforts to foster resilient development by addressing climate change, promoting peacebuilding and social cohesion, and extending risk-informed programming, including through investment in national and sub-national risk assessments and preparedness. For the first time, the current Strategic Plan has an output related to risk reduction confirming the organization’s commitment to supporting countries to adopt child-sensitive policies, strategies and programs that address risks associated with disasters, conflict and public health emergencies.
