Organization: Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP)

Aligned with the World Bank Group’s (WBG) strategy on gender, Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP) ensures that WBG energy operations make the necessary provisions for women in terms of their exposure to risks and access to energy services and benefits, and by generating the knowledge to show how gender-informed projects can improve development outcomes. It also supports training and curates knowledge available to make it accessible to gender practitioners globally. The Gender and Energy Publications Library collects guidance notes, toolkits, global reports, regional and country reports to support users working in the energy sector and/or gender specialists to integrate gender in energy policies and projects.
