Madeleine Walshak

Communications Coordinator

 

Madeleine Walshak is the Communications Project Coordinator for the NDC Partnership. In her role, she amplifies the Partnership’s work and impact to its diverse Membership and international audiences. Madeleine supports the Outreach & Governance team in creating multimedia content, including the Partnership’s communications products and publications, social media and website, as well as project management for editorial and design projects. She also oversees team administration activities including facilitating with vendors and contractors, processing vendor contracts and invoices, and tracking budgets and costs.

Prior to joining the Partnership, Madeleine held positions at the Edwards Aquifer Authority, a regional water management agency in Texas, where she supported communications and development planning to launch an Education Outreach Center. Madeleine also previously worked with the Texas Butterfly Ranch's Monarch Butterfly & Pollinator Festival, where she led the Festival's digital communications, graphic design, and supported on program and event management. 

Madeleine holds a B.A. in Economics & Environmental Policy from Trinity University. During her time there, she spent time conducting biological field research in Costa Rica, worked for the Blackwood Educational Land Institute, and also led outdoor excursions with the Trinity University Outdoor Recreation Department.
